Park view is a traditional detached Cornish Cottage and is Grade II listed situated in rural North Cornwall. The original dwelling is circa mid C18 and is of traditional and simple rectangular form, with a slate covered roof arranged with two gable ends.

The dwelling needed repairs to the historic roof structure and to correct a number of anomalies which had previously been carried out, which were not in keeping with the character and listing of this fine example of a Cornish cottage.

Listed building approval was obtained by R A Rowe for the raft of improvement works associated with the proposal, including ;

​

• Removal of all out of context cement based render and replacement with traditional lime based coverings

• Overall and repair of traditional casement windows

• Repairs to areas of roof illustrating fatigue

• Re-instatement of original ground floor internal partitions

• Replacement of out of keeping UPVC rainwater goods with heritage cast half round
